LES!
Last night was girls night out. It was Valentines day and we wanted to make ourselves feel better since we are all single. That’s alright though and we had the best time ever. Started the night, like we always do, at a friends house with a couple of bottles of wine. The we headed down to East Villiage and Big Bar (7th between 1st and 2nd ave). The place was empty so we quickly got down to Lower East Side (our favorite part of the city) and went to Max Fish and Pianos. There are some really cool palce down there, especially on and around Ludlow. There are a lot of cool bars and hang out spots but I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking to go clubbing. Down there you will only find low key bars and trashy places. The people down there are so cool and relaxed, it’s not at all like the parties everywhere else on Manhattan, and people are much more lai- back. That’s so nice for a change.
We ended up staying at the top floor at Pianos until closing and then we pretty much headed home, drunk as crazy. Today wasn’t that much fun though. Hangover is not a favorite feeling. I did manage to overcome by drinking a lot of water and taking a long, nice walk in the park. Both things forced on me by my friend. She knew it would make me feel better and she was right. I just love it when my friends know we all too well
