Wake up and smell the pressure!

Published by josephine2222 at 7:14 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

What is up with people complaining and nagging about president-elect Obama? So what that he still has one more spot to fill in his White House leadershipteam. I mean, is it really that bad? Isn’s it better to give him some time to really think stuff like this over to really make the best decision?

I don’t get why people are on his case about every little thing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for putting pressure on the new person leading this country. He has a lot of promises and ideas to live up to, but what I think we have to remeber is that he’s not the president until January of 09. Bush still has some more time to turn us upside down yet again. Just wait and see, It’ll happen!

I’ve been thinking lately that maybe it wasn’t the best thing electing Obama as president. Wow, I know that is quite bold to say but what I mean is that who ever follows president Bush has got a lot of cleaning up to do before they can even start thinking about implementing their thoughts and ideas. Therefore I think it’s a shame that Obama is “waisted” on this term. I really believe in him as a president but I kind of feel that he might’ve been able to do a much better job not following Bush. But then again, he’s not even president yet so who am I to say that he’s not doing what he’s suppose to. In one way or another he’ll be great. And if nothing else electing Obama is a victory itself. What I am afraif of, though, is that this country (and the entire world) is going to have to high expectations on him and his precidency so that no matter what this man does, it won’t be good enough. I’m not saying that will happen but I suspect it!

People are going to criticize whoever is in the White House. It’s just the nature of politics. You’re right, he has a lot of cleaning to do. I do believe he really wants to make a change in this country but I don’t think it’s something he can do in one term.
