Beauty ms or miss?

Somthing I’ve never understood and, for sure, will never understand is the business of beautycontest. i don’t see the point in showing off fake, underdeveloped bodies that are clearly not healthy in any way, smiling like the world was just one happy union and then wanting worldpiece.  I’m sure I’m stereotyping this a lot but what it somes down to, and what really bothers me, is the fact that these women (or should I say girls) truly believe that they are community leader being good rolemodels for young girls. That really scares me.

I‘m very aware of the fact that this is a multi-million dollar industry, especially in this country, but I feel that people need to open their eyes and see the damage of these competitions instead of the glorified exterior. More and more young girls get some kind of eatingdisorder and many of them are trying to look like their (fake) rolemodles on beautishows.

It’s not right, it’s not morally correct, and it’s even dangerous. Women are being objectified and looked on like they are pretty things, just standing there smiling and saying stupid things. Those are not the kind of rolemodles this country needs and I think it would be a good thing to cut down on the impact that the industry have on the world. And not to forget all the crazy parents that push their choldren into madness. It’s simply insane!

To top this off, a beautyqueen in California suid the instate-competition for $2 million. She was given the crown, being elected the queen of Cali, but both the title and the crown was immediately taken away fro her as she was the wrong girl. She didn’t win, so now she’s suing the competition for public humiliation…. I have no words!!!
