A day of Joy!
This is a good day. Yes Obama is the newly elected president of the USA and in my eye, this country couldn’t have chosen a better man for the job. Well most of that still remains to be seen, but I so think he’s off to a good start. I believe in what he says and relly think he can and will make a difference. And what an acceptance speech. Talk about power, determination, and faith. This is a man who truly believe that this country is good and strong enough to change. I still have my doubts but think that he, if anyone, can turn this country around. Good chice America!
It’s also a day of joy because in a couple of hours I get company. My beloved, wonderful, beautyful cousin is coming to New York to visit and I can’t wait. She is probably my best friend in the entire world and knows me better than anyone. We are going to have such a good time and practically take over the streets of Manhattan. If you happen to see two hot, crazy girls down in Soho or strolling the hills of Central Park, chances are it’s us. So excited for her to get her, to show her around and tell her about all my favorite places. And the best part is all the wonderful dinners, brunches, and breakfasts that we are going to have.
Oh this truly is a day of JOY!
