Massage your troubles away…

As you may have notices, I’m somewhat of a fall person. I love this time of the year when it’s getting colder, more rain, and the days are getting a bit darker. It’s an excellent time to be inside, light a bunch of candles, cuddle up with a cup of tea and a blanket, watch a movie, and just feel good. What is there not to like about fall? And not to forget all the beautiful colors on the trees. It’s wonderful.
Another thing I like to engage in is massages. I’m very much into giving massages to the people around me. No, I’m not one of those people who will attact you without a warning, but I really don’t mind giving them. Especially since I’m actually pretty good at it. Now, I don’t at all mind getting one myself, that’s always nice. And I happen to think that giving each other massages every now and then is a great way to reconnect, feel close, and just have a reason to touch your close one.
Massages are of course good all year around, but I especially think that they will do you good in the fall. It’s just the perfect time for it. As some people might only massage each other for the good feeling, I’m more into the massage that actually helps.
The biggest problem most people have is that they use only their fingers when giving the massage. As you might have experienced that will make you tired fast. So that’s a big NoNo! What you want to do is have the other person lie down while you are on top of them. That means that you can rely on you own body weight and just press youself down, not really using any type of force. This will make you last longer and also being able to apply more preassure where it might be needed.
So if we all go, take ut a pillow, and start practising, we will be pros in no time. An this is a great thing to surprise you love one with next time they complain about neck pain or tired feet.
