A Starbuck’s dream!

As I was studying for tomorrow’s Macroeconomics exam, I took a break and started surfing the web. A lot of great stuff out there and there are always new things to discover. I stumbled upon an interesting article about how coffee and tea (well all hot drinks really) affects us more than we might think.
While many people, including myself, drink these hot beverages to enjoy the great feeling of caffeine, there are now research that claims that the beverage does more than that.
It is a research from the University of Colorado that claims that when we enjoy hot beverages, we will also get better relationships. If you put your hands around a hot cup of coffee, you will start having more favorable thoughts about other people. They say that up until today it’s known that people who feel alone or left out tend to want a hot beverage or hot soup, and now UoC is showing us that there are real feelings and emotions that arrises from a hot cup of coffee, which will lead to a better atmosphere among people.
According to the research people, our brain works with both physical heat and emotional heat in the same part/area.
Isn’t this interesting? So if I’d only bought my ex more coffee, maybe we’d still be together. If it was only that easy… This is at least good news for Starbuck’s, right?
