Go back in time!

Published by josephine2222 under Places Edit This

In New York, there are countless thins for you to see and experience. Every new thing that is being introduced to this world makes their first pit stop in New York. We get the first try, and if we like it and approve, so will the rest of the country. That’s what I love about this place and what makes it so unique as a city.

There are things, however, that go against the trend of revealing the new and unexperienced. There are those who see a beauty in the past, in what has been, in what is no longer current. One of those places is the veneu of Clearview Chelsea, a cinema theater inthe heart of Chelsea. On October 23, they are hosting two screenings of “The Witches of Eastwick”, a novel by John Updike about three lonely women from New England who find their sexual selves when a devilish stranger rolls into town. It was made in 1987 with Cher, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfifer as the leading ladies and Jack Nicholson as the man.

The Clearview’s price is a mere $7.50 which, in my book, is a great price. Other screening dates are Oct 28, and the same dates at Cielo, a nightclub in Meatpacking District.

Clearview: 260 West 23rd Street

Cielo: 18 Little West 12th Street
