The original Soupman!

If you are a little fimiliar with Seinfeld, I’m sure you know about the Soup Nazi. This man actually exsist in real life and was an inspiration to the character in the TV show. The Soup Nazi’s name is Al Yeganeh and has been running his soup restaurant since 1984.

A couple of years ago he decided to open a couple more soup restaurants around New York City ´so you can enjoy his amizing soups at any franchise location. The original location is at 55th street and 8th Avenue and some other locations are 42nd/5th ave, Rockefeller Center, Astor Place & Broadwa, 56th/Lexington. Remember though that there are a few groud rules that you as a customer has to follow:

1. Stand neatly in the line. Have your order and money prepared in your hand for when it’s your turn.

2. Tell the soup Nazi what you want and pay him quickly.

3. When you have ordered and payed, move quickly to the left and wait for you order.

If you already want to prepare for when you pay this place a visit, here are some of the soups available everyday:

*Hot Seafood

*Hot Vegetable

* Hot spicy Mexican chili

*Hot clear broth

*Barley

*Gumbo

*Goulash

*Creamless vegetable

*Chilled gazpacho

Take your pick and enjoy. These soups are so tasty!
