Being blog smart!

In this world and time of bloggers, it’s really important so stand out, be original, and have something important to say. Especially since the election is coming up. Just realized that it’s only one month to go, starting yesterday. November 4th is when it’s all happening and I can’t wait for the results. I just wish that I could be a part of this and vote, but til that happens I just have to do what I can and push the people who do get to vote, to get off their asses and cast their vote. Go out there and make a difference, speak your mind, and change the world.

Since I’m not a political blogger per say, I’m probably not going to write a feature about the parties or the candidates. There are people out there who are so much better at that if yu already don’t know what they’re all about. I do want to say, though, that I really don’t like Gov Sarah Palin. Yesterday, I watched the Vice Presidential debate and  I was surprised by the way she acted and what she said. Not only did she not answer the questions being ask to her, but she totally went outside the topic (more than once) and she came across as fake and very unknowledgeable about what she was talking about. I don’t think that’s even a word but you get what I’m saying. I did not believe her and I disagreed with her opinions. Sen Biden, on the other hand, came across as knowledgeable and more sincere. So that’s that on what I will say about that debate. ONthing more, nothing less.

As I mentioned before, I think that it’s important to be one of a kind when you are in the world of blogging and maybe that’s why I like ‘the Sartorialist’ so much. It is a picture blog featured on style.com (Vouge’s website). What I lika about hthis blog is that this guy doesn’t arely write anything, he’s outside all of that, but what he does do is take amazing pictures on people and putfits that he finds interesting, inspiring, and good looking. He almost always takes hi pictures on regular people on the streets and puts them on his blog with very very few comments. I think he’s going for “a picture says more than 1000 words” and he definately let’s the fashion speak for itself.

Just look at some of the latest pictures taken in Paris before and around the Paris Fashion Week:

I think this last one might be my favourite. Which one do you like the best?
