Apologies!

Published by josephine2222 at 8:33 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I would like to apologize for me being absent yesterday. I just happen to have been my 21st birthday. And what a great one it was. Eventhough I had to go to school and do a lot of boaring, normal things, the lunch break in Bryant Park was wonderful. Me and my friends hada big pic nic right in the middle of the grass and people around us were looking and actually coming up to congratulate me. That was great fun!

The day continued with school, being just another day. Had a lot of success in my speach class as I actually talked about the big changes you’re faced with turning 21 in this country. Now I’m legal to drink (and of course do other stuff) in ALL continents! Finally!

The evening was spent at my guy’s house realxing infront of a movie, with a lot of swedish candy that was delivered to me earlier the same day. My wonderful family and friends had been so kind to packa big box full of candy and games and sent it to me for my birthday. So me and my guy played all sorts of boardgames and stuffed our faces with salty licorice. A truly great birthday, although a somewhat calm one. The big celebrations will take place at Sushi Samba on friday, so we’ll see how that goes! Can’t wait!

XoXo

…do make sure somebody(who is still sober)takes a pic of you as you down your first LEGAL drink…and of course it must be a special one…not just a bloody bear or something…

…oh by the way..there’s a really good current retrospective show at the Guggenheim..Louis Bourgeois, who is almost 100 years old, is the artist…well at least one I would love to see…as it is so well suited to that particular spiraling showroom…which I personally happen to just love…and wish more museums would emulate in some form or other…not just the usual four bloody boring walls as one proceeds from room to room…

…incidentally did you know Frank Lloyd Wright, who designed the Guggenheim, himself totally abhored Modern Art, and was not impressed with it at all, and as a matter of fact called it..”Lessons in Fingerpainting”…what a hoot, I would have loved him, as I feel the same way, and the next time you come up I’ll tell you a story of my brush with an artist who had his work shown at the Boston Museum…another story for my book for sure…

    Millebaci!

…hello…where is everybody…it’s just an ordinary Thursday night for Gods sake…not a party night…well at least not in my book…
and here I thought NY was THE place on earth where things happen all the time, the city that never sleeps…eh..has the song got it wrong…sure seems like it…

    Grump… Grump… Grump…

    …oh and don’t forget …tomorrow is “Bunny Bunny” day…

I will of course document the first legal drink and report back tomorrow (if I can get up that is)! I wouldn’t make that mistake. It’s a huge deal for crying out loud!

Thanx for the museum tip. Now me and my guy have even more things to do!

    Kisses!
