 I don’t usually go uptown a lot. Very seldom actually. I have reasently got more opportunities to spend some time on the Upper East Side, and I must say that I really like it. Even though I’m more of a downtown girl, I actually really like UES. Nice and safe neighbourhoos to live in with a lot of cute restaurants and bars. My new favourite place though, is a park (go figure). It’s a fairly small park called Carl Schurz Park and is located just by East River. Really nice! Today we walk around the entire park watching people and listened to street singers before we sat down on the grass and just enjoyed the beautiful night.

There we surprisingly many people out tonight and the park was quite crowded for a while. Many runners and dogowners were out late and I never felt unsafe. A really nice park that I think a lot of people might not know about unless they live in the neighbourhood. It’s a shame though as the entire park has views of the water, bridges, and countless boats. I will hopefully spend more time there as it’s smaller and nicer than Central Park. CP will always be number one for many reasons but CSP is definatley worth a visit!
