Bungalow 8

Published by josephine2222 at 11:09 am under Uncategorized Edit This

So yesterday’s preparty was held at the sundeck of Chelsea Tower (26th/6th Ave). Cool building in a fluid neighbourhood.

The next stop as at a rooftop party in Tribeca. Amazing view and delicious margaritas!

The 3rd and final stop was B8 (Bungalow 8) in the heart of Meat Packing District. This place use to be really cool, with top people coming every night, giving the lounge a great reputation. All I want to say after yesterday is “Don’t live in the past”. This place was so not good. Although the interior is great that’s about it. The staff were rude, the service was bad, the croud irregular and weird, and the music sucked. The sucking of the music was probably the worst part about it. They played old songs, without any kind of remix or modern twist to it. They played music my grandmother wouldn’t even listen too. It’s times like these you realize just how important the music is.

So would I recommend going to B8? No!

Do youselfs a favour and listen to me. Save your money and time by ignoring this lounge. It’s really was that bad!

…for the life of me, I can not see you living up here, not now, not later, not ever, you would miss your beloved Park too much…
..although the clubscen might be as good up here, but not as posh or well known as down there…nor any celebs around every corner…
..and hey, the Sox are indeed coming to Bronx soon, so if you can get tickets..GO…
..up here there is not a ticket to be had for any of the remaining games with the Yankees…

Haha I don’t ever see me moving… this is it! :)
Well that might be a nice change of scenery as I think I’m getting tired of the clubscen in NY. I guess it will pass if I just stay away from it for a while.
… Oh, I didn’t know that. I will definately check that out. There are probably no tickets left here either but I will look around. Thanks for the tip. What would I do without you?
