Strand Books!
This is something I want to share with everybody. Don’t know if I’ve told you this before but I don’t care because this is really good. Strand Books is a company that sets up a bunch of tables with a lot of books along Central Park, at 60th street and 5th Avenue. They have all kinds of books, including really new ones. Just the other day I purchased one Oprah-book club book, one old Shakespear play, and one new, girly cop book. And all of them for little over $25. Is that not great or what? It’s so cheap and fun to look through all of the old classics.
If you’re in New York this summer I definately recommend you to stop by and take a look. Their selection is great and you’re outside by the park. A great way to combine 2 of my favourite things; books and Central Park.
Now: I’m actually off to the park to do my daily excercise. If I make it there that is. It’s so hot and humid today. I think I might melt away soon!
