Monki!
This day has been filled with heavy rain and shopping! I spend the day with my baby sister trying to find her a pair of vintage Levi’s jeans that she can cut up and turn into shorts. Unfortunately no luck with that but we did manage to find other things however. She wasn’t the one doing the shopping though (as planned) I was the one who found a lot of stuff. I, who can’t relly afford to spend money on clothes when I have rent to pay when I get back to NY, but what the hell. I found some really nice dresses and they were all on sale, so there!
I bought one vintage dress and the other ones on my favourite store Monki. The have great stuff, affordable prizes and awesome interior. The staff is always friendly and that’s important to me. But what’s the most important is of course the clothes and thwy not only have a lot of them, but they’re great.

This is one of few stores in which I can actually get lost and easily spend hour looking at everything. I always seem to leave the store with at least one bag (probably containing multiple items though) and I can come back for days in a row. But this store and everyting it represent is something I believe in; cool clothes that follows both what’s hot and what’s diffrent at the same time as it’s affordable. Go Monki! And I sure hope they will launch their stuff in NY soon! I’ll keep my fingers crossed!

…my darling El Diva…just keeping your finger, toes or any other body part you may choose, won’t do a damn thing…
…get to the root, and start at the top, and get the names of the people /company in charge, and start bombarding them…
…but not just bombarding, but show them a workable plan, specially for NY, ie. location, similar boutiqes, how well they do, surely on the net some where yo can find out how much revenue these places make in NY, how much their overhead is etc. It really can not be a secret, as everything must be reported to the IRS here.
So hop to it. get busy, and use your new marketing skills, and with Geoffs friend’s help, surely she can steer you in the right direction.
And think of the opportunities this would open up for you, wow.
Also same for Indiska. And if there really do excist a trade problem, go to H&M and Ikea, and ask for help with your research, as they obviously managed to find a loophole to open over here.
Just say you are doing your thesis for your final exam on this.
And then you present all your findings to what ever stores you think really really would do well, but really professionally .Actually I seem to recall seeing Monki in London??? Not sure though.
.Anyway, it is a long and rather complicated road, but do not take no for an answer. You hear!!! That is if you really want them to spread their wings.
You go girl…Alis Volat Propiis !!!
And it will keep you busy and out of too much partying.Hm.Maybe not quite what you had in mind, eh.
