Football a la Sweden!
For those of you who didn’t know, the European Championship in Soccer just started. Over in Europe we call it football (since you acutally play with your feet) and this tournament is a big deal. Kind of like the playoffs over here. Don’t ask me what playoffs, just pick one of them, any sport.
Sweden is of course a part of this, and in tonight’s game, we’re faced with Greece. A piece of cake if you ask me, but then again, I’m not an expert. Soccer, to me, is not all that interesting but what I do like is all the hot players. I’ll watch a game just to see the hunky men run around, looking like gods. Luckily, some of them are Swedish. We have some of the hottest, most talanted players, like Ljungberg, Ibrahimovic, Larsson, and many more, and I for once, think that Sweden will do rather well. Or so I hope! It would be fun to have a big celebration here in New York.
Another team that is known for its hot, good looking players, is Portugal. I’m not even going to comment on the pics, just see for your selfs:
…I am still on the vintage and used clothing kick, and between us I am sure we’ll ferret out the one I mentioned….and anyway fall is probaab ly the best time, when it’s not so blasted hot and uncomfortable…
…as for sports…you have me there…not very interested..although hockey now is a different kettle of fish…although The Boston Bruins have not done so well for themselves for years and years now..so sad…and there your country men did themselves some big honor, by winning the Stanley cup, well actually The Red Wings team, but they have at least 4 brilliant Swedes on their team, including the team Captain Nicklas Lidstrom…who was smiling from ear to ear…while hoisting the trophy…now I am sure he must be a hunk of some caliber, under all that hockey equipment…

Nu kanske du blir avundsjuk på oss med tanke på ert väder over there, men vi har nu ett normal svenskt sommar väder, lite regn och små kyligt……….
Men vi hoppas på bättring till midsommar, snart landar du åter på svensk mark.
Det ska blir så roligt att träffa dig igen.
