Weekend in paradise!

Published by josephine2222 at 5:00 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

The heat is here. The unbareable, mindblowing heat that is the New York summer has arrived. Along with the shining sun, the humidity is a mere 45%. Isn’t it just lovely? As I’m not use to these humid conditions in a big city, and yesterdays high temerature really caught me of guard. Going to the park to work on my tan was probably not my brightest idea. By the time I left, my brain was boiling and I was going insane. Literary. Don’t get me wrong, though, I love summer and have been complaining about the cold winter for a long time now, so this warmth is more than welcome. I was just a little surprised that it sould change that much, that quick. But now I’m back on track (and on my feet), redy to meet the hot, humid city again. I’m not very excited to meet the 2.5 million Puerto Ricans who, today, celebrate their nationl day with the Puerto Rican Day Parade along 5th avenue. But hey, if they’re happy, I’m happy :)

If I were to mention one single thing that is the best thing about summer, I would have to say the warm, nice nights. This weekend have been filled with outside dinners, pic nics, and countless roofparties, and if I knew how to do it, I would show you pics. It seems as if my computer is agruing with me wether or not to upload the ones from my camera. But don’t wory, he may have won this battle but the war is definately NOT over. I’ll be back, for sure, and will bring pics for you then!

 Kiss & Fly :)

….feeling and looking like a wet rag or not,is absolutely no excuse for not partaking of your adventures and comments…
..my darling Diva…did I not tell you…of course I did..but until it hits..nobody really understands the kind of heat and humidity that can decend on our American cities with no warning…a real killer…

.. Mia and I plan to spend the better part of tomorrow IN the ocean, as tomorrow is going to be a another mega hot day…today it was 92 here by the coast..hate to think what they had inland…and in the city..and happy to say…we’ll do the same on Tuesday, and as long as this heat wave goes on…and we’ll be covered in sun block and wearing hats for sure…and drinking plenty of water…

    Keep Cool.

Tell me about it. People told me about it but I sure didn’t expect this. NO way Jose! And what you have that we don’t have is water. Sure Manhattan is an island but I wouldn’t swim here if my life depended on it. I’m actually looking into spending the weekend or parts of it down in Jersey Shore with a friend, so hopefully I’ll be IN the water soon!

    Kisses
