A night on the town!

Published by josephine2222 at 9:05 pm under Places Edit This

Yesterday night was a very fun one. But man did I get home late. I finally put my head on the pillow at 6.15 after what felt like a long, long day. We went to a couple of places which I want to recommend. All of the places I will ever mention in this blog will be good ones and therefore deserves attention.

Before I get to my list of yesterday’s places I want to say that there are 2 things that are just as important as the actual party, and that is the pre party and the after party. Don’t go directly to the club or the bar. Start out by first going to someone’s house for a couple of drinks (to warm up so to speak) and then go to the place you intended to go. But don’t feel sad when your favourite club closes down for the night, that just means that the fun is about to begin. You can either go back to the place where you held the pre party or go to someone else’s place and recreate the pre party. If you do that, you have created your self an after party and the entire night will be a guaranteed success.

These are some of the places we visited last night:

Cipriani’s (
Soho): A wonderful place with really great music, nice interior, and a good atmosphere. The restaurant business is downstairs and the food is delicious. The club scene takes place upstairs. Cipriani’s also has a restaurant uptown, by Apple store by Central Park South (

59th street

) and 5th Avenue.

Spotted Pig (

West
Village): My favourite place in this city. A great, fairly small bar with the greatest staff ever. The all know us pretty well by now and the treat us like family. We always meet new, interesting people there, and if you’re into the whole thing with spotting celebrities, Spotted Pig is the place to go. It’s very low key and unpretentious, so you can just come as you are. I don’t think I’ve had a single night out that didn’t end at Spotted Pig. Greatest place ever!
